Who Let The Blogs Out

Posting this video might be slightly irrelevant at this point, but it's no less hilarious. And completely baffling.

Mitt is so street. Unfortunately, he is the opposite of what I would consider a good presidential candidate. So, with that, let's all savor the new irrelevance of this video as a propaganda tool.

My friend "Jefferson Mayday Mayday" (Quotes necessary due to the multiplicity of names by which he''s known) is a truly illuminated individual, repping hard for the land of my birth, the deep dirty. Here's a beautiful video he made at the world famous South of the Border, located in luscious Dillon, SC, with sounds to stain your eardrums by a distinguished cast of southern gentlemen.

SOUTH OF THE BORDER (Pure Enjoyment Archives 2007)

[SOUTH OF THE BORDER was intended to be a second Disney~World* In 2001 visionare Alan Schaefer passed away & threats to tear down a relic from yesteryear is at constant bay* South of the Border in its hay day had become self contained, having its own fire department & police station* One could even buy a car at BORDER automotive* Schaefer went into secrecy & kept unknown apartments in back his shops and diners, and began building interconnected houses just outside Dillon South Scarolina where Border is located* Dillon is just "South of the Border" to North Carolina* Many think there should be only one Carolina and it should be its capital* Video document features many stores, such as an "African Store", as South of the Border has a world theme, yet its central theme is Western Mexico* Document also features sights from an elevator ride up to a giant sombrero, which is what one first sees from an interstate, similar to how one sees a Mickey Mouse water tower on their way to Disney~World* Yet roughly 40 miles prior, there are phenomenal bill boards to hype one up roughly every half mile which have everything one could fit on a bill board, even an old beat up car which is frequently hit up by local graffiti artests* Soundtrack features much early 80's world olympics peace inspiring sounds which one may sense in South of the Border's forgotten age invoking powers, but it also features a local Scarolina group LARb, from their LARb/FLUME 12 inch split* LARb was a group which featured moog/theramin/sax/& samplers and played in Columbia Scarolina from early 90's til just after millenium* Song is taken from a telephone recording where a man was trying to convince sax player he had "control over his mental state" Often people who can no longer "take it", meaning Scarolina government's backwards ways due to its confederacy pride have to leave to a great fantasy just upstate so they can regain control over their mental state* A place where you can buy an American flag where an eagle is shattering through it like glass* A flag you wash after it touches ground* For all whom go on tour up and down eastern coasts, it is imperative to take I~95, becuase "you never sausage a place!"] - JMM

I recently bought the Skull Disco "Soundboy Punishments" album, and Shackleton's "Blood On My Hands" is on my brain.
It's an interesting track. The lyrics are cryptic in the way they build the identity of the speaker, who seems to be either a terrorist or someone slowly coming to terms with the realities of a violent world. Almost a resignation, it feels like a deeply personal experience. The music to me somehow represents a quieting of the mind, with occasional bursts like the volcanic tension below the surface.
It's beautiful... a little bit evil. One of the only songs I've heard that explores this subject matter in a mature and thoughtful way.
